The Progress high availability training is a hands on training-on-the-job for system and Progress database administrators to configure a Progress environment for high availability.

This is a training on the job so it connects perfectly with your existing technical infrastructure and application environment.

This course is intended for system and Progress database administrators with basic knowledge of the Progress Open Edge environment and database and with knowledge of the Windows or Unix Operating System, depending on the infrastructure present.

After the Progress high availability training the system administrator is able to

• create a risk analysis
• create a backup & recovery plan
• take the correct measures when a disaster occurs.
• use the Progress utilities for backup and restore
• implement high availaibility options
